Welcome to Brighter Days Counseling LLC, where I, Ashley Neild, MS, LBS, LPC, Foundational Theraplay Practitioner, offer Licensure Supervision to developing clinicians. Thank you for considering me as your clinical supervisor—I take this role seriously and am committed to guiding you in becoming a skilled, confident, and ethical therapist.

About Me

With over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, I have worked extensively with children, families, and individuals across diverse settings, including community mental health, schools, and private practice. I hold multiple professional licenses and certifications in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, ensuring that I provide high-quality supervision aligned with ethical and regulatory standards.

My Credentials:

• Master of Science in Counseling and Clinical Health Psychology – Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), July 2009

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) – Pennsylvania & New Jersey

• Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) – Pennsylvania

• Post-Master’s Certificates in Advanced Graduate Study

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Play Family Therapy

• Foundational Theraplay Practitioner

• 45 Continuing Education Credits in Supervision from Advanced Counselor Training (ACT)

 

My Approach to Supervision

Clinical supervision serves two essential purposes:

1. Developing your clinical skills – Providing guidance and mentorship to help you grow into a confident and competent therapist.

2. Ensuring ethical and effective client care – Protecting the well-being of clients while helping you navigate complex clinical situations.

My developmentally attuned supervision approach adapts to your evolving competencies, offering a supportive yet challenging environment where you can refine your skills in diagnosing, conceptualizing, and treating clients. I emphasize:

Supervision Structure & Fees

Individual Supervision: $130 per 50-minute session
Group Supervision: $50 per session
(Brighter Days Counseling LLC employees receive pro bono supervision.)

Sessions are held weekly at a consistent time for structure and accountability. Supervision includes live observation, co-therapy, audio/video review, and case discussion.

Cancellations require 24-hour notice to avoid full session charges. Payments are accepted via PayPal or Venmo at the time of each session.

 

Supervision Expectations & Ethics

I adhere to:

• CCE Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) Code of Ethics

• State Board regulations in Pennsylvania & New Jersey

• Standards set by the American Counseling Association (ACA)

Supervision confidentiality is maintained except in cases involving harm, abuse, legal mandates, or board reporting requirements. My role is to support your professional growth—not to serve as your personal therapist—though referrals for personal therapy can be provided if needed.
